About
Steve Quinn founded the organisation in 1997 having worked in aerospace, shipbuilding, oilrig construction, brewing and food manufacture. He spent ten years at board level as HR/Group Services Director in a major Scottish food company, latterly with additional responsibilities for Procurement and IT.
Steve has a BA and MBA from Strathclyde University. Particular strengths are in Coaching, Facilitation, Team Effectiveness and Transition work. He works extensively with senior teams, supporting strategic thinking and building organisational capacity for change. Steve has operated internationally and provides coaching support at senior level. Recent work has explored the use of Big Mind as a coaching tool and work is ongoing with clients to consider some of those big life questions.
Steve is an expert commercial and ER Negotiator and has in depth experience of Employee Relations issues.
Working Internationally
From our base in Scotland we’ve worked throughout the UK and internationally, having completed projects in North America, the Middle East, Egypt, Africa, New Zealand, Bermuda and in mainland Europe. We have particular experience working with organisations in oil and gas, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems, financial services and in the public sector.
Associates
Our Associate group is a small, select band of experienced facilitators and coaches, each with specialist skills. We entrust them with our business. Feel free to do likewise.

Lesley Wilson – An experienced senior HR professional and creative influence. Lesley has a background in economic development and a largely public sector background. She has particular interests in coaching, appreciative inquiry and organisational learning. Lesley uses conversation as a key business process.
Jan Roberts - An experienced business improvement, supply chain and L&D specialist, from a private sector background. Jan has worked in the drinks sector and banking and has recently developed some specialist knowledge with local authorities in Scotland, working with Planning and Building Standards functions to bring about performance and customer service improvement. Jan works with EFQM and Service Excellence models.
John Best - A teambuilding specialist and expert facilitator. John has a background in manufacturing and a focus on Manager & Team Leader effectiveness. John is another of our Clutterbuck trained coaches and has worked extensively overseas in oil & gas.
